-The open cart

-Each laptop has its own storage slot with a charger connection.

-Each of the laptops is connected to the mobile cart with two connections.

-The first connection is a velcro pad on the bottom of the storage slot in the cart and a velcro pad on the bottom of the laptop.
-To remove the computer, lift up on the laptop and pull forward.
-Disconnect the charger cord from the power port in the rear of the laptop.
The charger cord remains in the storage slot in the mobile cart.

The student should take the computer to their work area and sit it carefully on their desk.

Press the latch (button) on the front bottom of the laptop and lift up the screen to expose the keyboard.
-Press the ON button and let the computer boot up.

-The mouse function is done through the Touch (Finger) Pad.

The touch pad will move the cursor. The left and right mouse buttons are located below the pad.
-Your students will need to practice with the pad. Have them open the WORD application, type a sentence, scroll the page and open menus.

-If they have a problem using the computer it will probably be manipulating the cursor wit the touch pad. Be patient!
